100 Injured in Israel Train Derailment
JERUSALEM (AP) - A train hit a truck in central Israel on Monday, causing a locomotive and one carriage to overturn, and injuring more than 100 people, police said.

A rescue service official, Doron Kotler, told Channel 2 TV that most of the injured were slightly hurt.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the truck had tried to cross a barrier that was down at the time of the accident.
