Alabama Gov. Bob Riley defeats Ten Commandments judge Roy Moore to win the Republican gubernatorial primary, the AP reports.

ON EDIT:

NYT/AP: Riley Wins in Ala.; Siegelman Trails

Alabama Gov. Bob Riley easily beat back a GOP primary challenge from Ten Commandments judge Roy Moore on Tuesday, while Democratic former Gov. Don Siegelman trailed in his comeback fight against the state's first female lieutenant governor.

As eight states held primaries, New Jersey Republicans chose Tom Kean Jr., the son of a popular former governor, to challenge Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez in the fall. Also in Alabama, voters passed a ban on gay marriage by a 4-to-1 margin....

I do not consider CNN's "projection" to be binding, and I am ruling this race too close too call at this time.

8. Losing just allows this crank to point to even more
evidence that his brand of christianity and governance is truly under attack, eliciting even more whacko support.

14. Baxley has also won
Bye, bye Don Siegelman, who proves it is quite difficult to campaign at the same time you are on trial.

18. We interviewed Siegelman for a Electronic Voting film
and what happened to him the last election is basically the template used by the Right Wing to steal votes electronically..

He went to bed knowing he was the Gov of Alabama only find upon rising that 6500 votes had been "moved" from his column to Rielly's.. they blamed it on a lightning strike in a small town which basically didn't have those numbers in the first place.. a lightning strike doesn't make a computer MOVE 6500 votes to your opponent's side.. and NONE of the other totals were changed.

What really happened in that in Baldwin county, one of the most corrupt places in the US, Rielly and his henchment kicked EVERYONE out of the courthouse, including Poll workers and media in the dead of night and CHANGED those numbers in the computer, it was blatant and simple, primordial but effective..

When Spiegelman demanded they count the votes, they legals refused, saying that he had to have PROOF that there was misconduct or they didn't have to open the count, in order for him to prove it he needed that "ballot box", the computer files opened, so it was a nice catch 22 fuck you in his face..

He finally realised that the game was so rigged, including the judges and legals that there was no way he would prevail, and hence Riley became Gov of the state...

We've got all the proof we need on film at at some point we'll be putting the word out there in our film so folks know just how easy it is to cheat, and that's without keeping anyone from voting..

Of course they've kept Siegelman in court for years now so that he can't campaign which is a shame as this man would be a great Gov..

16. Not only that, but every one of Moore's hand-picked candidates...
Went down hard.

Tom Parker, Hank Fowler, Ben Hand, and Alan Zeigler all got spanked by primary voters.

6/6/6. Not a good day for Dominionists in Alabama.
