Reuters: Iran will harm US interests if attacked:
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran will harm U.S. interests anywhere in the world if the United States launches an attack on the Islamic Republic, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday.

"The Americans should know that if they assault Iran their interests will be harmed anywhere in the world that is possible," he was quoted as saying by a state television announcer.

"The Iranian nation will respond to any blow with double the intensity," the leader added.

1. Of course they will. Middle Eastern people are damn sick and tired of
this administration's crazed idea that they are allowed to murder them at will.

2. Say, duh?
Who is stupid enough to think if Iran is attacked that it won't strike back? I don't think even the Neocons are that stupid.

3. Um, yes, according to the neocons themselves, they *are* that stupid -

They're saying the Iranian people would welcome being bombed and would rise up and overthrow the fundmentalist government and install a friendly American-style democracy (which would presumably hand over most of its oil to us at a bargain basement price)*.

* - I tossed that last part in parentheses in for good measure.

6. Hell...they thought Iraq would love being bombed, why not Iran?
I cannot believe that these fuckers are planning on attacking another country.

Hey Shrub -- how about finishing the first quagmire you got us into before you start anymore.

5. The attempt to sell that one already deflated. Besides they don't
actually believe the shit they try to sell a gullable public.

Those that hold to Straussian philosophy of government believe that it's important to lie to the public, but Straussian thinking doesn't even hint that those elite ruling liars should believe their own lies.

9. I'm not sure Bush does think. I believe he lets Cheney think for him
on foreign policy and Rove gets the job on everything domestic.

12. I would say you are right. Thinking takes work and he seems lazy
I'm sure the Vice was added to the ticket and said he could have his way and Rowe has always sort of put into mind what Bush thinks. Bush sort of makes me think of the last Czar of Russia. I read a lot about that time and Bush is the same type. Thinks they are born to rule and knows what he knows is right even when it did not work. I have said this before. Lots of these men who have all the power seem to think like this. So many seem to just plane tear down every thing they have in this day dream that they and only they are right. Strange that so many go alone with these men. It is a subject that really interests me.What happened in Germany and with Cromwell in England are so interesting in history.

10. Their deviousness betrays a level of cleverness only exceeded
by their commitment to radical guiding ideologies.

Deviousness is nothing if not intelligence serving evil ends.

14. The real question is..
What will Iran do to US interests if attacked by the state they continually threaten to destroy?

Will the US invoke the NATO treaty if they attack us, YES. Will Europe, Russia, and China kick the crap out of Iran, YES. Will they split the country up like germany after ww2, YES.

Attacking the US in any first strike would be the biggest mistake Iran could make.

My 2 cents.

19. daily propaganda dose.... How much do you think they are required to spew
before they build up enough fear in the american people and can deploy the nukes.

See, you all think you lost out on iraq by not investing in defense companies. You're wrong. Bush is about to go on his greatest crime spree for the defense companies. Remember his dad is invested in them though carlye. It's his last great kill before stepping aside for the next crook.

Time to invest.

:puke:
