Poll: British voters tired of Blair

LONDON, England (UPI) -- Many in the British electorate -- even those who were stalwart fans of Tony Blair -- say the longtime prime minister has run out of gas.

In 1997 Blair led his Labor Party to the widest winning margin in a century and became the youngest prime minister since 1812, The Washington Post reports.

The war in Iraq is unpopular and voters say Blair is out of touch with common people.

Polling firm Ipsos MORI shows support hovering just over 30 percent.
