Iraq detainee beaten to death by fellow inmate (Camp Bucca)
Edited on Wed Mar-29-06 09:38 AM by Barrett808
BAGHDAD (AFP) - A male detainee at the US-run Camp Bucca detention facility in southern Iraq died after he was beaten to death by a fellow inmate.

The 25-year-old detainee died on Sunday after an "altercation" with another detainee, the US military said Wednesday.

"While being treated, he died from severe head injuries suffered during the altercation," the military said, adding that it was investigating the incident.

4. How many Iraqis died today, while in US custody?
How about yesterday? I wonder what the reason was for the US to HAVE to report this one? It must have leaked out and so an "explanation" was required...:eyes:
