Two Soldiers Killed in Anbar Province; Earlier Casualties Identified

WASHINGTON, March 24, 2006 – Two soldiers assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 28th Division, died due to enemy action yesterday while operating in Iraq's Anbar province, Multinational Force Iraq officials announced today.
Officials provided no further details. The soldiers' names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

1. Considering the extreme care that is taken anymore to minimize

US deaths in Iraq, I find it very significant that they are still getting killed
so regularly. The opposition is very determined.

We need good news. Every time a soldier dies SUBTRACT that number from the causality list. Pretty soon we'll be under 2000 killed, then under 1000, then we can get it down to 0. See, good news, nobody killed, don't you feel better.
