Bush budget seeks to recycle spent nuclear fuel
February 6, 2006

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/02/06/AR2006020600631.html

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush on Monday asked the U.S. Congress for $250 million in research funds to restart a controversial program that would reprocess spent nuclear fuel.

The United States abandoned the technology in the 1970s because it was too expensive and there was fear terrorist groups or rogue nations could get access to the plutonium and make nuclear bombs.

Want to "recycle" it into all sorts of household materials, rebar, roadbuilding materials and all sorts of stuff made with steel.

Read "Nuclear Spoons" by Anne Marie Cusac an award winning article about this.

Not to mention recycle it in weapons.

Saving cash for the Nuclear industry by stashing their waste in every possible place and putting it into our communities.

The tonnage of nuclear waste the DOE has is mind boggling.

Get ready to stop the mobile Chernobyls' coming to your town.
