Bush firms up Arizona visit plans

TUCSON, Ariz. President Bush has firmed up his plans for his visit here on Monday.

First, he'll stop at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base outside Tucson. Then, he'll fly to Phoenix to attend a fund-raiser for Republican Senator Jon Kyl, who is seeking re-election.

According to the White House, Bush will speak about border security and immigration issues at the base at about 2-30 p-m. White House spokesman Blair Jones said no other stops in Tucson are planned.

The president will be accompanied by Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

2. Bush doesn't make it any too easy to prostitute himself.
It almost makes you shudder, but then you realize anyone who would go this far isn't like a normal person!

Why not throw yourself at my feet, John?

7. OK, DU:ers....I'm taking bets.
Bush is going to attend a fundraiser for Jon Kyl, who's seeking re-election.

How are Kyl's rating? Is he a shoo-in? (rubs hands together) this should be good.

13. What's there to plan?
AirForceI hasn't been able to cool of its jets since George became POTUS. This should be just Standard Operating Orders. He lands at a well protected military installation with pre-selected officer and enlisted men, dutifully standing at attention. Selected local Republican politicos specifically anyone considering running to replace Kolbe, on hand to get the prescribed photo-ops. A little bit of campaigning on the side?

Then off to Phoenix which means only time enough to strap the seat belts on, a potty break and then landing. Time to meet and greet and spin off the same bad english that Georgie has been using throughout his Presidency and then collect the loot and he's off again.

The last time Georgie visited Tucson he left a trail of pissed off Tucsonan's. Citizens were banned from sidewalks and streets as Georgie made his so very secret visit to 6-senior, devout Republicans. But that's what Georgie is best at....pissing people off. All at the taxpayers expense.

14. Ann Coulter's response on tonight's Lou Dobbs
when asked if she thought bush's statement that he would take care of the immigration and broken border problem next week during his AZ was good.
"It would be great if you could believe what he says."
