Iran says it supports Iraqi 'freedom'
Iran's president emerged from meetings with his Iraqi counterpart Monday and pledged to strengthen ties between the two countries, which were once bitter enemies.

Iran completely supports freedom for the Iraqi people, the current political developments and national sovereignty. Those who have deployed hundreds of thousand military forces in Iraq are not interested in seeing better relations between our two countries," Iranian television quoted Ahmadinejad as saying after meeting Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, who is here on a three-day visit.

The United States has accused Iran of meddling in Iraqi affairs after U.S.-led forces drove Saddam Hussein from power in April 2003. The Pentagon says Iran is allowing weapons and terrorists to cross its border with Iraq to attack Iraqis and coalition troops. Iran denies the charge.

2. So I have to read this little book and pass a test to drive but
a leader of the (still?) most powerful nation on earth doesn't even have to know his ass from a foreign policy fiasco?

3. Well, of course they do. They're allies by treaty as of 7/7/2005.
