You can also link to these via MichaelMoore.com which I was happy to see.
Thousands of protesters staged rallies on Wednesday across the United States against the policies of President George W. Bush, including the war in Iraq and response to Hurricane Katrina.
The World Can't Wait organization, a coalition of groups formed recently to stage the rallies, used the anniversary of Bush's re-election to call for his resignation in protests that took place in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago.

1. Thank you!
I honestly was very moved by all the speakers! The 2 above were AWESOME! Ann Wright was the diplomat that quit over BU**SH**'s war.
The one thing I felt miffed about -is earlier, I wanted to get my hands on more stickers- as an easy way to get the word out but couldn't= now of course I have hundreds of them.
I also kept a couple signs and will alternate them with my impeachbush.org ones. I recommend doing that, if you can. We need signs/stickers whatever everywhere IMHO!
The kids were so funny and enthusiastic- shop keepers and shoppers, so many bystnders along the route seemd to be wearing them and smiling and waving. Almost everyone seemed to greet us warmly.
there were a couple arrest that seem to be for no paticular reason- I guess they have to do a token amount? A wonderful day anyway.

Hey someone took my picture:)

2. And, as usual, I didn't see word one on any news programs I watch.
Thanks, though, to Washington Post.

3. I saw reporters ( getting our 'message' out to more people)
from foreign papers, student groups and lib sites. then finally up near Time Square I saw a CBS camera man. There was NOT one mention on the prome time CBS channel. They even had a lame-ass filler type segment at the end about teaching Cornell students better etiquette. I sincerely got the feeling maybe that someone decided NOT to air something else.
The protest in Paris are getting a huge amount of coverage! http://worldcantwait.net/
http://www.photochains.com/view/WorldCantWait This is another photochain that people can add photos and COMMENTS to. These sites have some overlap but also reach different audiences. PLEASE add photos and thoughts.!
Care2.com has many thousands os members from ALL over the world, and they have a petition site-which you do not have to be a member to join and use.

I also recommend people do not just thow away signs, place them where they will be seen. Stick those stickers on the back of junk mail envelopes and mail them-etc.

4. WCW is really doing a good job of it.
I know some people really have a problem with ANSWER and coming out to the protests bcause of them. WCW along with UFPJ could really focus the movement maybe next spring we'll have an even bigger and more focused event in DC.

5. But, but, but, George is such a popular, war-time president!
You want to have a beer with him!

He's got a quiet nobility when his aides are indicted!

He can ride a bike -- under certain conditions. And don't pass him, plebe. You either, Lance.

{Eyes narrow} Why do you all hate America so much?
