U.S. wants UN-ministers meeting on Syria next week

WASHINGTON, Oct 24 (Reuters) - The United States hopes a ministerial-level meeting will be held at the United Nations on Oct. 31 to discuss what future action to take against Syria, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said on Monday.

"Then the ministers will have an opportunity to discuss what action to take," said McCormack, who added a firm date had not yet been fixed for a ministerial meeting to discuss the results of a U.N. investigation into the killing of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri.

4. use the "rove" litmus test

Bush claimed he would fire Rove if he found out he outed Plame and then changed it to "if there was a conviction."

in in his rational ......... he use the same criteria here for the Hairiri murder? ..........Unless someone in Syria is convicted then just let it go!!
