Five U.S. soldiers killed in bombing during Iraqi referendum
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — Five U.S. Army soldiers participating in a combat operation were killed by a roadside bomb west of Baghdad during Iraq's constitutional referendum, the military said Sunday.

Saturday's explosion hit the soldiers' vehicle in the mostly Sunni Arab city of Ramadi, 70 miles west of Baghdad, where few Iraqis were believed to have voted in the referendum, the military said.

3. I knew Condosleeza was lying when she said it was a quiet day.
She made sure the crap came out of her piehole before this came out.

16. Five dead troops
mean nothing to her, or her "husband". She's as vile as he is. These senseless deaths can be laid at her expensively shod hooves...I mean feet...as well as at those of her lord and master. They have brought such misery and shame to America, and death and misery to Iraq.

9. How many names do we want on the Iraq War Memorial?
If you want peace now, the number of dead is frozen at the number of the fallen as of this date.

If you are like Clark, Hillary, Kerry, et al, the number of dead is going to be a lot larger than what it is today, depending as to whether we pull out in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, or if Rumsfeld has his way, 2015.

How many names do YOU want on the Iraq War Memorial?

14. Your post should be printed, placed in a letter,
and sent to the man whose face appears above.

He looks worried, dense, concerned. Maybe it's time he addressed this question?

27. Yes, people are getting numb
There is a limit of how many "RIP"s and "Sending prayers for (his/her)
family" messages you can put to the unending catalogue of death, pain
and suffering known as Iraq. It gradually sinks in that acknowledging
the deaths has no effect on the next day's casualties, no effect on the
gung-ho idiocy of Bush's supporters and no effect on the inhuman scum
in power in the US.
