Four US soldiers wounded in Afghan blast
KABUL - Four US soldiers were wounded Friday when a roadside bomb planted by insurgents hit their armoured vehicle in northeastern Afghanistan, the US military said.

The troops were attacked as they returned from a mission to defuse a similar bomb in near Asadabad, the main town in insurgency-hit Kunar province, the military said in a statement.

The wounded were evacuated to Bagram Air Base north of Kabul, where they were were listed as being in a stable condition, the statement said.

The statement added that US troops along with their Afghan counterparts began a hunt "to kill or capture those responsible".

1. Four more victims
of Shrub's incompetence. By illegally invading Iraq, and causing massive death and suffering there, he left the forces in Afghanistan stretched too thin. I wonder if our troops in Afghanistan feel abandoned by their Chimp-in-Chief? He diverted the resources they need to Iraq, because he was obsessed with invading that country.
