Police found Sifrit and his wife, both of Altoona,
Pa., carrying merchandise out of the Hooters
restaurant, leading to charges in the killings.

Sifrit acknowledged during his trial that he helped
cut up both bodies in the bathroom of the Sifrits'
condo and then disposed of the body parts.

But he said he was asleep in his Jeep while the
couple was being killed and pinned the murders on
his wife, painting her as emotionally unstable,
sex-starved and hooked on anti-anxiety drugs.

A jury found Sifrit guilty of second-degree murder
and assault against Crutchley, along with an
