Bush stops in Ohio, sidesteps coin case

By CHRISTOPHER D. KIRKPATRICK
BLADE STAFF WRITER

COLUMBUS - President Bush yesterday traveled to Ohio to talk about terrorism, but he arrived in the midst of the biggest statewide scandal in years and to a crowd of angry "Coingate" protesters.

Mr. Bush's motorcade sped by as dozens of protesters held signs proclaiming their frustration over the unfolding scandal at the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

Some examples of the signs:

"Mr. President, Give back all of my money," "What ethics?" "$50 million for how many favors?'' and "Noe raised over $100,000 and you're only returning $4,000? Sounds like fuzzy math to me."

Gregory Donelson, a 48-year-old Columbus resident, wore two large plastic dimes around his neck - a reference to the $10 million to $12 million that is missing from a state-financed rare-coin fund created by Toledo-area coin dealer and Republican fund-raiser Tom Noe.

1. From an anti-protestor who incredibly said she had not heard
of the scandals enveloping the Ohio Republican Party:

"We love the President. He's a Christian and these people are evil,'' said Ms. Brandon, referring to the protesters. "I have plenty of military background in my family and all of us love the President. I wish we had a flag to wave."

Some real kool-aid drinkin' goin' on still.

3. I have lost all hope
Seriously, these people HAVE NO BRAINS. Either that or they fail to use them. Somewhere down the line either mommy daddy or pastor Joe brainwashed these people.

"we love the president" Huh? LOVE? Jeez, I really liked Clinton, but i dont think I would say I LOVED him...

"Hes a christian and these people are evil" HUH? Shes living in a fantasy land of monsters and angels. Everyone who doesnt agree is EVIL and needs to be SAVED, or they are GOING TO HELL.

Notice she herself wasn't in the military, but somehow by having HER FAMILY in it makes her "better". (i dont get why she even said that, she basically is just spouting out nonsense by now)

"...all of us love the president" Very eerie. Its like hes a GOD or something. ALL YOUR SHEEP ARE BELONG TO US.

Lastly, the phony 'murkin duty of flag waving.

I swear if I ever meet one of these people in real life, I might end up in jail.

Just for the record, I have plenty of military background, personally, and I hate the fucking resident. Not everyone in the military is behind that retarded chimp (no offense to chimps or retards).
