Ohio:Repubs received at least $200,000 from brokers(Noe not the only donor
Statewide Republican candidates and the state GOP Party have received at least $200,000 in contributions from about 50 brokers who invest money for the state Bureau of Workers' Compensation, The Columbus Dispatch reported on Monday.

That figure does not include contributions totaling more than $121,000 from Tom Noe, whose investment of $55 million in rare coins for the bureau has created a scandal with $10 million of the coins now missing.

After bureau Administrator James Conrad announced his resignation on Friday over the controversy, Senate Democrats called for new restrictions on campaign contributions from those doing business with the state. "I believe Tom Noe is a little minnow in the pond," said Sen. Teresa Fedor, a Toledo Democrat. "We want to clean it up now."

Democrats called on any officials who received money from Noe and his wife, Bernadette, to give it to the bureau.

And we thought the Tea Pot Dome scandal took the cake when we learned of it in history class. Hey, that was a Republican scandal too!

4. Tea Pot Dome scandal? More like the Gotti Crime Family
Mob takes over union (or state government), directs organization's investments through a crooked accountant (or coin dealer), accountant (or coin dealer) embezzles, kicks back a 'vig' (or campaign contributions) to The Family.

Classic, RICO-prosecutable scams going on there.
