Hazmat halts Rainbow Bridge
"Traffic over the Rainbow Bridge was stalled for the evening as ambulances and hazmat crews investigated the release of a caustic substance.

The problem started when inspectors started looking through some cash that had apparently been hidden in the trunk of a car. Fumes released during that search gave inspectors breathing problems and hazmat crews were called in to investigate."

===============
The Rainbow Bridge is the main bridge from Niagara Falls, NY to Niagara Falls, Ontario. The information was still sketchy as of 11:30 pm. There were no details on the nationality of the car that was pulled over or the identification of the contraband. Usually when stuff like this happens around here someone comes on within 30 minutes to assure us that it was not terrorism.

I hope this wasn't posted previously. DU has been down for me for the past hour or so.
