1. What about those that died in hospitals outside of Iraq?
I heard that they are not being included in the totals. Is that right?

8. They're included at icasualties.
At least alot of them are. There may very well be some fatalities that aren't getting reported at all. It will probably be years before we know for sure.

5. Just watch Senator Lautenberg
question the reasons for not showing the flag draped remains of servicemen and women on their return to the US. He wanted to know why they continue to hide this from the public and felt this should be corrected as Memorial Day approaches.
He then named all the persons from his state who were killed in Iraq. That was too cool.

4. I'm afraid you may be correct
talking with some of my neighbors today, they all think we are making progress now that Iraq's a democracy, etc. Tried to talk about the non-existent WMD's, the UK Memo, the Koran abuse...but was shhhh'd, those things happen in the fog of war.
My reply was: I'm not in a fog, I've followed it from the beginning to today. If you refuse by want or need to be in a fog, that's your choice.
With that, I grabbed my son and walked into the house. Bet I won't be asked back to the ornament party next year. :eyes:

7. thanks, Don

I've had a lot of conversations and let it go in one ear and out the other, but today....I was taken aback but the sheer willful ignorance on display.

11. They use the ignorance to protect themselves
So don't judge them too hard either. It is very frustrating, but most people are in denial and will not listen, because they can't handle the truth.

9. They sound just like my in-laws
I do everything I can to avoid them, much to my husbands chagrin. The thing is, the more daily death and destruction I see caused by that monster in the WH, the less I am able to tolerate his enabling, freeper voters.

I think you should consider yourself lucky if you don't get that invitation. And I agree with Don. Excellent answer!

peace,
lc

Seems the fog here is even worse than the fog there.
