Site of Watergate burglary up for sale
A Washington office building that was home to the infamous 1972 Watergate burglary is expected to sell for $100 million, real estate brokers have said.
All of the retail space in the six-building Watergate complex has been put up for sale, including the 198,000-square-foot office building at 2600 Virginia Ave. where the break-in at Democratic National Committee headquarters that led to President Richard Nixon's resignation took place on the sixth floor.
