Warner slipped away to Germany (Bilderberg Meeting)
By BOB LEWIS
Associated Press Writer May 17, 2005

RICHMOND, Va. - Gov. Mark R. Warner quietly slipped away earlier this month to Germany for a secretive weekend conclave of global economic and foreign policy figures.

Warner confirmed Monday that he took part in the annual Bilderberg Meeting the weekend of May 6-8 at a resort hotel near Munich. Other U.S. participants included Henry Kissinger, Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman, Ford Motor Co. chairman and CEO Bill Ford and Richard Holbrooke, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder addressed the group, Warner said.

"My sense was you had the opportunity here to interact with the leading business leaders not only of the United States but in all of Europe," Warner said in an interview.

Back in the 1991 a little known southern governor named Bill Clinton attended the Bilderberg Meeting. ;)

1. I thought Bilderberg was like "Fight Club" - you know,
the 1st rule of Bilderberg is you don't talk about Bilderberg. ;)

3. I believe can acknowledge it...
but I've heard that whole hotel staffs are temporarily changed to accommodate the secrecy.

10. This post made me laugh...
in light of your recent post:

Your attempt to basically slur the entirety of the NED is on par with those who want to label Edwards a Bilderburger.

It's despicable.

I guess "despicable" isn't a perjorative to you.

7. It will be very difficult for me to vote for anybody who
attends these meetings because I'll always wonder whether or not I can trust them (and I like some of the names mentioned above very much. :( )

9. Did it stop you from voting for Edwards for VP?
Or Clinton for President? They both have attended.

to decide the fate of the planet? Seriously, I have talked to someone who has attended Bilderberg meetings, not as a member, but just to attend. He said the whole thing is very secretive down to the way they talk about things. He said that there is a lot of nuance and that things are said with out really having been spoken, because everybody there is on the same page. Add Bilderberg to the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations and you have the conspiracy theorist's New World Order trifecta.
