MARINE KILLED NEAR AL QAIM

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was killed May 9 by enemy small-arms fire near Al Qaim, Iraq.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

He said that we are losing a company of soldiers and a platoon of marines every week. EVERY WEEK.

11. ABC News reported tonight 13 U.S. military deaths since Saturday

ABC News tonight said that these deaths are the most in a three day period since before the January elections and their commentator {Tony Cordesman I believe) said that the insurgency does not seem to be waning and our efforts to kill and capture insurgents do not seem to slowing down the attacks.
