http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=0581109b040beb10

Big News Network.com Wednesday 4th May, 2005

U.S. military deaths in Iraq accelerated the day the provisional new Iraqi government was announced.

Most of the news coverage in recent days has been of the wave of car bombings that erupted last Thursday and continued through to Saturday. More than 100 Iraqis died in the attacks, which have continued in the days since.

What went unreported was the number of U.S. casualties that co-incided with the Iraqi deaths.

When this news service reported ten U.S. soldiers died in Iraq during a 48 hour period, from Thursday night last to Saturday, it was asked why the report was appearing in no other media.

As it turns out we were wrong.

In fact eleven soldiers were killed in action from Thursday until Saturday. Another died Wednesday, and at least one Sunday, taking the toll for the five days to 13, although this number could be revised up pending details still to come from the Department of Defense

4. Appointing Chalabi as Oil Minister didn't go over so well.
I'm not sure what the neocons expected. Do they think the average Iraqi is as stupid as the average American?

I knew this was a slap in the face to the Iraqi people and I expected a reaction.
