WTC Coverage Archivists Conduct Survey About 9/11 Attacks

April 21, 2005

Future generations may get some extra help understanding the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks thanks to a new survey that's in the works.

The Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York wants anyone with records or artifacts from the attacks to fill out a short survey. Responses will be stored in a database and made available to researchers.

The group says that the results will preserve materials from the World Trade Center while giving researchers tools to study the attacks.

I have a VCR tape with several hours of coverage from that day. I have never been able to watch it. Perhaps they may want it.
