UK extradition case provokes protest
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/F20CF00E-2248-406C-AD7E-46549B72B5E1.htm

The extradition case of a British national accused by the United States government of supporting terrorism has resumed in London amid major protests.

Washington alleges that Babar Ahmad raised money to support terrorism in Chechnya and Afghanistan via websites and emails. It plans to transfer the 31-year-old to the US.

The court had previously been told that Ahmad - an Imperial College computer worker - ran internet sites inciting murder and urging Muslims to fight in a holy war.

....
(Ahmad's Wife) "I have no confidence in the US justice system. But surely the issue is that a British citizen has been accused by a foreign government of committing crimes in the UK - he should be tried in the UK."

1. The US should then deport its terrorists as well
Like the bosses of Union Carbide responsible for the Bopol mass murder.

As it stands, it sounds more like an attempt to make US law extraterritorial, and to ignore any reciprocity of such forms of injustice.

The US is no justice system. This chap should stay in the UK. There
is surely overwhelming support for british citizens being charged with
crimes in britain, and none of this imperial deportation crap.
