N.Korea to boost 'atomic potential,' Tass says

MOSCOW (Reuters) - North Korea is to strengthen its "atomic potential" in response to Washington's hostile policies,Russia's Itar-Tass news agency quoted the president of it sparliament as saying Thursday.

Tass, one of the few foreign news organizations with are porter based in the communist state, said Kim Yong-nam in an address to the Supreme People's Assembly.

"We will continue to expand our atomic forces as long asthe United States conducts policies to isolate and suffocate(North Korea)," Tass quoted Kim as saying in an hour-long speech.

Kim, who ranks second behind top leader Kim Jong-il, is the highest-ranking North Korean official to state Pyongyang's intention to boost its nuclear arsenal.

1. Bush wants to play, so when he invites others to play he shouldn't
throw a hissy fit when they respond to HIS OWN WORDS.

We can either be diplomats, thugs, or avoidant isolationists. Obviously we're not being isolationists! We're failures as diplomats! One choice remains.

Live while you can. I don't expect to see 35.

4. Nor should there be.
There should be a withdrawal of US forces from southern Korea and the establishment of diplomatic relations with northern Korea. That is the solution. And we must continue on the road of diplomacy to reintegrate Korea as a whole economically and socially.
