forever (until the oil runs out). And Rumsfield lost the peace. What a horrid mess.

I hope those people all over the ME get the democracy they have been begging for from the US for the last 50 years. I really hope they do.

23. Can Poland even afford to be in Iraq?
Think about how much this war is costing the U.S. We are currently spending about $4.9 billion dollars per month in Iraq. We currently have 150,000 troops in Iraq.

If we divide the total $$ by the number of troops, we get $326,666 spent each month per soldier. (whew, that's a lot of money per troop! isn't it? -- and all they get is -- $1,200.00 per month?)

Anyway, let's see how much Poland would be spending per month, using our spending level. We'll just round it off to $300,000 per month.

If we multiply $300,000 X 1,700 we get $51,000,000 per month. This means that Poland is allegedly spending $51 million per month??????

I don't think so. No offense to Poland, but I don't think they have the money. WE don't have the money.

Maybe Rumsfinished greased some palms?

26. Poland to withdraw troops from Iraq
http://www.bignewsnetwork.com/

Big News Network.com Tuesday 12th April, 2005

Poland, a stalwart supporter of the U.S. in the military occupation of Iraq, has announced it will withdraw its troops at the end of this year.

The BBC reported Poland would pull its troops out of the country when the UN mandate for the stabilisation mission expires. That is expected at the end of the year.

Poland currently has 1,700 troops in Iraq and has command of a multinational security force south of the capital.

Polish Defence Minister Jerzy Szmajdzinski said the troops' mission would end 'at the time of the expiry of the Security Council's mandate', according to the BBC report.

31. One more sad, pathetic thing...
You know what. It really doesn't matter--at this point--who is in or out of the "Coalition of the Willing."

The "Coalition" was a mere marketing ploy, designed to give the illusion of global support for Junior's war. They got several countries to commit troops. The "Coalition" served it's purpose; to propagandize the American people and to fool them into accepting this sham of a war.

Junior doesn't give a shit if America stands alone at this point.

He won when the idiots in this country went along with this tripe.

Normally, I'd be happy about this. But it doesn't matter. Junior doesn't give a rip about Poland.

A: 1,700. 1,699 to leave, and one to be shot by the US on the way to the airport.

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.
