Carlson Angry at Fox
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=494&e=2&u=/ap/people_tucker_carlson

He calls them a "a mean, sick group of people."

You have to love the conservative chatterheads eating their own.

Maybe we can start a fight between Novak and Coulter.

5. I hope he has changed his mind
about ridiculing Sen. Daschle when he complained about threats....if I recall correctly, they painted Daschle as a whiner and that he should just buck up and take the abuse and shut up.

6. And I'll give him another one for taking on Karen Hughes
On Tim Russert yesterday he talked about Hughes lying to his face about Bush using the F word which he reported in his infamous Talk magazine piece.

10. Yeah, but
Didn't he finish by saying he'll still vote for AWOL?

Just shows, it's not about "character" at all, when you're voting for people you know--you publically admit--are cheating, malicious liars. Could you be voting for him, BowTie, not because he has such an impeccable character, but rather so that you can get your tax cut and keep them damn wimmin and minorities in their place?

...alleged that Tucker said he just does the conservative shtick for the check. He's not actually ideaologically committed.

As if he didn't really believe all of the crap he spewed.

I don't get that impression anymore.

22. I agree that he's serious about what he spews...he works too hard to talk
over the top of those who disagree with him. It's got to be very important to him for him to make such an effort.

20. I've been wondering about that
My husband and I were talking about that issue. I wondered if maybe Tucker isn't really as conservative as he appears; he only plays that on tv. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

30. He was the idiot
He gave THEIR number first. They responded after he created chaos in their office. He got what he deserved. They didn't make the obscene calls, they provided his number.

I'd be pissed too, if I were Tucker. This went beyond the pale, and I hope he sees just how nasty Reptilicans can be.

He fired the first shot by giving out THEIR number and creating chaos in THEIR office. They responded in kind. His attack deserved response. Frankly, I think what they did was smart.

39. Couldn't disagree more
There's a big difference in say, my giving out a phone number for a public company -- and them publishing someone's "personal" info.

7. Tucker is in a league of his own
and doesn't seem to fit in with your garden variety Repugs.

As he relates in his new book, when he was accused of rape, the first person he called for advice was Paul Begala, who advised him to hire Robert Bennett, Clinton's impeachment lawyer.

Tucker interviewed Smirk for Talk magazine, in which * mimicked Karla Faye Tucker, "Please don't kill me."

Bob Novak doesn't think Tucker is "conservative enough," and the two rarely even meet at the studio.

was victimized when Faux escalated a joke into WWIII.

Fucker should give out Roger Ailes', Britt Hume's, Sean Hannity's, and Bill O'Lielly's home addresses and phone numbers on Crossfire.

Not to get all second grade about this, but Tucker started it. Although if Fox had to give out his number, they should have used his work number. There is no excuse for harrassing his wife.

35. Sorry, I Can't Agree
It may have been foolish of him to do that, but a "professional" news organization does not react the way Faux did to this situation. They just bite the bullet and wait for it to blow over.

The spokeswoman for Faux said it was a legitimate journalistic response? I think not.

It doesn't matter whether he deserved some payback or not. A major corporation does NOT behave this way. This just proves the obvious; Faux is NOT a news organization. They are a truckload of punks and thugs without a shred of journalistic scruples.

16. There is no real sense of humor....
in the right wing. What they pass off
as humor is really just the highs they
get when they are on top and winning
everything. They gloat and act magnanimous
as one would if they were invincible.
They honestly believe that this is
humor.

But when they feel threatened they are
mean spirited and spiteful. They react
without pause and the attack is always
meant to stun, fill with fear and destroy
their adversary. Tucker just got a dose
of what it is like to go up against his
party of choice.
