IL Teen Shot & Killed For His New Tennis Shoes
IL Teen Shot & Killed For His New Tennis Shoes
---------------------
Mar 30, 2005, 7:41 AM
New Media Producer: Kerry Corum
---------------------
Illinois police are investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old, who told police he had been set up and robbed.

Steve Terret was shot Monday on the south side of Chicago, and died later that night at an Oak Lawn hospital. An autopsy Tuesday showed the teenager died from a gunshot wound in the back.

Police say the teen told them before he fainted, that he had been set up and robbed. His mother says her son was not wearing any shoes when police arrived but says he was wearing a new pair of gym shoes when he left his Chicago home earlier that evening.

Motley Crue will be touring this summer.

God help us, could Kenny Loggins put out another album...

I hate the 80's. Again.

7. Yes, I remember it well
People getting robbed or killed for their sneakers, leather jackets, sunglasses, sheepskin coats. Except for one guy--he was killed, but his sheepskin coat wasn't taken because it had blood all over it.
