Al-Qaida releases Iraqi execution video
BAGHDAD -- A videotape of the execution of an Iraqi Interior Ministry official by al-Qaida-linked insurgents has been posted on a Web site, The Times of London reports.

The video shows a blindfolded man who identified himself as Colonel Ryad Kateh Olyway being shot in the head after "confessing" to collaborating with U.S. forces.

Olyway was kidnapped a month ago.

The man was seated with his hands tied behind his back in front of a banner bearing the name of militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. In a flat voice, the prisoner said he was "very sorry" for what he did.

"I saw terrible things at the Ministry of Interior -- many Iraqi female prisoners subjected to various kinds of torture, humiliation and harm to their honor," he said. "I also spied on other ministries for the Interior Ministry."

7. This is a departure.....
The man was seated with his hands tied behind his back in front of a banner bearing the name of militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
In case we forgot to shiver in fear of this NEWER THAN OSAMA person, a potential "real scary guy," someone thought to get a banner printed with the name on it. Official-like!

Looks like proof to me! Damn!

8. "someone thought to get a banner printed with the name on it."

I know I love these little touches, it's all in the details.

Now if they would only add T-shirts that say "we are who we say we are damn it"
