Noblesville, March 23 - For some 6,000 Bridgestone-Firestone workers across the country, including some 370 at the company's Noblesville manufacturing plant, the possibility of a strike is real and growing by the day. <snip>

With all the money that must be pouring in from those "The wheel goes round and round" commercials (featuring a rave beat and supermodel types fondling the tires), the workers should get a bigger piece of the profits.

2. Dammit... I need new tires

I've been saving my pennies and had decided on a set of Firestone tires. If the union strikes, I'll have to either wait until it is settled or pick different tires.

Here's hoping they can work it out without a major strike (and not just because I need some new tires).
