Defamation suit settlement unravels (Sharon Bush, Neil's X)
The settlement of a defamation lawsuit involving the ex-wife of President Bush's brother Neil has unraveled, with her lawyers Tuesday asking a judge to throw out the case.

Sharon Bush is accused of spreading rumors that her ex-husband fathered a child with his current wife, Maria Bush, while she was married to another man.

Sharon Bush requested the tests and chose Identigene, a private lab in Houston that specializes in paternity cases, to perform them. She now maintains that the tests were unreliable.

"It is not possible to conclude that Mr. Andrews is the father of this child, as was widely reported (Monday)," Karin Scalise, Sharon Bush's DNA consultant, said Tuesday in a news release.

Scalise, a former DNA analyst for the Texas Department of Public Safety, said Identigene was unable to replicate known DNA profiles before testing samples from Neil Bush, Robert Andrews and the child.

The other man, Robert Andrews, sued Sharon Bush in September 2003, accusing her of telling reporters, friends and fast-food restaurant employees that Neil Bush was the child's father. Andrews is seeking $850,000 in damages.

On March 14, lawyers for Andrews and Sharon Bush informed state District Judge Randy Wilson that they had settled the case.

On Monday, however, a lawyer for Bush told Wilson that the settlement attempt had failed and Tuesday asked the judge to dismiss the case for the second time since the case was filed. A hearing on the matter is scheduled April 1...cont'd

What do fast food workers have to do with this case? What was Sharon doing -- screaming accusations at the order station of drive through take out windows?

6. LOL. Hell hath no fury.
Vanity Fair did a story on her, it was a nice article.

It was called "The Inconvenient Sharon Bush", I'll see if I can find it.

There's a segment in there where poppy just treats her like crap, he's such a callous bastard, tells her to "get on with her life".
