A HALF-BROTHER and former adviser to Saddam Hussein has been captured in Iraq, sources in the interim government said today. Sabawi Ibrahim al-Hasan al-Tikriti was No.36 on the United States military's list of the 55 most wanted people in Iraq. No other details were provided. An official announcement would be made soon, the sources said.

"Sabawi is captured, he's a big catch," one official in the government said.

1. We've been in Iraq more than 2 years and still have 20% of the most wanted
left? Geez, i guess that proves the old saying about 'military intellegence' being an oxymoron... and the other old saying, that * is just a moron.

4. wonder how much this has to do with his capture
Several months ago, the Iraqi Government said Ibrahim was one of at least two former Baath Party officials directing the anti-US insurgency from Syria.

6. And still no bin Laden
We have pulled the UAV's from Afghanistan and are flying over Iran, but no bin Laden. We have violated agreements with Pakistan and now our soldiers can be shot for going into Pakistan searching, but no bin Laden.

There have been no WMD's found and the main reason for the war is not there, but we continue to celebrate the capture of another Iraqi official. Unless he was arrested for drunk driving or something, who cares?

14. Syria hands over Saddam half-brother
<snip> Iraqi authorities said Damascus acted in a gesture of goodwill.

Sab'awi Ibrahim al-Hasan, who shared a mother with Saddam, was nabbed along with 29 other fugitive members of the former dictator's Baath Party in Hasakah in northeastern Syria, 50 kilometers (30 miles) from the Iraqi border, the officials said on condition of anonymity.

The U.S. military in Iraq had no immediate comment. <snip>

15. So, Iraq or Syria?
From the opening article:

The article you provided:

...was nabbed along with 29 other fugitive members of the former dictator's Baath Party in Hasakah in northeastern Syria...
