US claims 11 Taliban killed in Afghanistan

The US military claim its warplanes have killed 11 Taliban fighters in the southern Afghan provinces of Kandahar and Zabul in the past 72 hours.

"There were no reported coalition casualties or damage to equipment," a US military spokesman said.
