Republicans Head to Golf Course, Car Lot to Raise Money

<cut> Gov.Pataki (NY) and others will host the fund-raiser July 29th in Albany at a complex attached to one of the area's biggest car dealerships.

State Senate Republicans are holding a luncheon reception at the Oak Hill Country Club on August 14th -- the opening day of the PGA Championship at the club.

Fund-raising for other campaign committees in the Legislature are also moving away from the usual hotels and restaurants.
