SENATE WATCH-9/11/2003 (#1) (FCC resolution)

Thursday, September 11, 2003


The Senate convenes at 8:30 AM.

The Senate will be in a period of morning business until 11:45 AM. Moments of silence will be observed at 8:46 AM, 9:03 AM, 9:39 AM, and 10:06 AM.

At 1 PM, the Senate will consider S.J. Res. 17, the FCC resolution, with 3 hours of debate and no amendments in order. (Managers: Frist/Daschle) Upon the completion of this time, the resolution shall be postponed until 4:30 PM Monday.

Following consideration of this resolution, the Senate shall proceed to consideration of H.R. 2754, the FY 2004 Energy and Water Appropriations bill.

NO VOTES will occur today.
