SPANAWAY - Three Spanaway Lake High School students were arrested by Pierce County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday for allegedly plotting to bomb the high school and injure other students, Pierce County detective Ed Troyer said.
A sheriff's deputy assigned to work in the high school and school officials followed up on information received about one of the suspects. Their investigation eventually led to multiple search warrants, where deputies found hand-drawn floor plans of Spanaway Lake High School, along with notebooks and other documentation laying out details of the plan.
The suspects, an 18-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman, indicated to deputies they were planning to take over the school by force with weapons and bomb-type items, deputies say. They are also investigating the possibility of a hit list.
Troyer said the suspects told investigators they were going to do this for several reasons, including being teased for 12-plus years, to effect government change and for revenge. All three students were part of the Junior ROTC program at the school.

I wonder if we'll be checking up the music that these kids listen to that might have influenced them?
Nahhhhhh....
The press will probably portray these kids as "good kids that did wrong" instead of them being the usual social deviants that we're used to hearing about in these cases.
