_ SAUDI ARABIA, Nov. 8, 2003: Suicide car bomb kills 17 people and wounds 122 at a compound for foreign workers in Riyadh. Saudis arrest or kill 15 of 26 wanted militants for attacks including the car bombing.
_ INDONESIA, Aug. 5, 2003: Suicide bombing kills 12 people and injures 150 at the J.W. Marriott hotel in Jakarta. Authorities blame Jemaah Islamiyah, a Southeast Asian group linked to al-Qaida. Oct. 12, 2002, attack kills 202 people on the Indonesian island of Bali. Authorities also blame Jemaah Islamiyah. Key Jemaah Islamiyah operations chief arrested in Thailand, but other top leaders still at large.
