I really don't understand his angle at all.

I don't know if he is (likely) a fraud, opportunist who has no real principles and doesn't mean anything hes ever said or if he is really pulling the greatest scam in all of history (wink wink) just to make a point about the kind of base this "modern" Republican party has.
