This Fed Reserve is the 3rd incarnation of a bankers' cartel, by my count. The bankers wanted in, badly, from the start. Their greed was one of the causes of the Revolution. The corporations worked to take down all the restrictions, starting about the time of the Civil War and the great railroad and oil "bidnesses" started. The revolution was fought not against just England, but against East India Company, the mother of all corporations.

There's a lot about our nation that we never heard of...the economic/political history. We learned about various wars and conquests, but not about the machinery that triggered them.

Someday someone with the resources (not I) will write a comprehensive history of the US from the unvarnished economic point of view. And then the fur will fly!
