Pits have been around for many, many years. They used to be called "the nanny dog," because they were used to babysit kids. They are very devoted and loving to their family members.

It's only recently that people started breeding them to fight.

They are not all bred to fight, though. Some pits are used as bait for dog fighting. And others are used to get prenant because of their coloring and such. The "devil eyes," the red color, etc.

I am scared of them. But I don't think they are all inherently bad or evil. Those are human characteristics.
