Romney can't win the Republican nomination. The Tea Party believers, for some reason, hate Romney.

I don't think they don't trust Romney.

He had Romneycare. He's too slick to be a good ol' boy. He's not the right faith.

Perry's got the money. Perry's got the South. Perry will be the Republican candidate.

The less Perry says now, the more "moderate" he will appear in the general election.
The less he says now, the fewer gaffs he will make.
He can let his campaign ads do the talking for him.
