I read a lot of stuff on-line last night--following the barbaric process conducted by the State of Georgia last night in executing Troy Davis. One of the most chilling things I saw was that Davis, voluntarily, returned from Atlanta to Savannah to 'clear his name' when he heard he was wanted for the murder of the police officer. Wow. Very naive--and really not the behavior of a guilty man. Davis believed the PD were his 'friends'. Uh uh. No way. If you are suspected of committing a crime, do NOT make the mistake of thinking the PD are your 'friends'. Shut your mouth and do not say anything until your legal counsel is present.
