They choose to get help and do not let themselves be consumed by negative emotions. They take it upon themselves to find better ways to grieve.

Sorry, but I do not feel sorry for her. This did not happened yesterday, she had plenty of time and resources to get help with grieving. I know her son was killed violently and did not deserved it. If she cannot change that her son is dead at least she can try changing her attitude.
