Many people have paid attention (or have had their attention tuned in to the media) when Ford did not need a bailout. Now Ford is going to use that to their advantage. I suppose I can't blame them. They have pride in that.

Living in an area where a GM plant was saved from closing because of the bailout, I am so very grateful that they did get money to continue. We would have had ghost towns all over this area, or people in worse shape than they already are, without it. But I don't blame Ford...they realize that there are many who don't know that they were the only company who did not need the bailout, and they are going to let them know. It's marketing.
