have less to do with a US military presence in Saudi Arabia from 1990 - 2001 but more to do with the decades-worth of lies and other anti-Western propaganda that the Saudi royal family spread to their subjects.

These lies and propaganda ensured that their impoverished subjects' anger was focused and directed to people living OUTSIDE of their kingdom instead of the wealthy royal family that subjugated them.


Also, this same tactic (It's America's fault that you are poor, hungry, whatever) was used for decades in many countries throughout the Middle-East.

The powers-that-be in these countries have been working just as hard, if not harder, to make us the permanent enemies of these people............
