As long as I can remember, there has been a Labor Day Telethon for MDA. Labor Day isn't just for union members. I respect many members of DU have differences with Jerry for good reason.

Over the years OS's family has given year in year out to Jerry's kids. The Dr. San Guinary (http://drsanguinary.com/) fish bowl of cash. Pizza's for Jerry's kids etc.

Early this summer a family friend (Shannon named after the Henry Gross song from 1976) was diagnosed with a deadly form of MD. 3 years at best we are told before the day we visit the cemetery. :cry:

Please consider the overall cause rather than differences with Jerry. Today MD. Tomorrow hungry kids living under a bridge?
