Because pt. history is so important (if you have the time and are fortunate enough to have a conscious pt. or family members around) - it may be the medical assessment they may have to brush up on, as well as what Nadine said, the protocols and legalities involved per region. I'm sure they know all of it, possibly some have never had the chance to use some of their early, most basic training.
