I do want to have some level of trust in the President, that he has our best interests at heart even when I don't know or understand all of the forces shaping his decisions. I do size up his personality, look at his past, his family life. I didn't trust Bush or President Cheney--I do not feel they had average Americans' best interests at heart. I trusted, for the most part, Bill Clinton. I do trust Obama.
