I really don't understand who thinks that is gonna be a winning strategy :shrug:

And apparently the TPTB have come to that realization as well.

so, now they want cuts, and increased revenue from the rich possibly down the road.

im thinking the 'compromise' will be, raising taxes on the middle-class, by way of cuts to existing tax breaks e.g. housing, child credits, etc.

and the entitlement cuts, of course.
