The GOP is systematically attempting to strip down the government down to a castrated, privatized shell and turning our democracy and economy over to a small band of zillionaires and immoral corporations.

Their agenda is not simply some differences over particular social issues or liberal programs.

President Obama and the rest of the democratic leadership must start hammering that home to the public -- otherwise the GOP will continue to advance based on the perceived irrelevance of politics.

Democrats must deliver a counter message to the relentless assault by the Fox/GOP/Corporate message machine that is equally strong and direct.
